Rant n Rave Radio’s back on Wednesday live at Colour Box Studio

The team at Rant n Rave Radio will be back in full action mode for their live broadcast at Colour Box Studio in Footscray.

We did host an impromptu show late last night. We didn’t like the look of what was on offer on ABC’s Q&A so we decided to broadcast a special show. If you missed it, and you probably did because it was impromptu, you can catch it here.

But we’re going to be back tomorrow (Wednesday 13 Feb) live, loud and uncensored, discussing the big issues. And we’re going to be doing it live from Colour Box Studio. If you’re in Footscray why not come down and check out the digital art exhibitions at Colour Box Studio then join us for a rant.

TELL US: Do you want a special broadcast on 11 Feb?

It’s been a little while since our last show and we’re sure you, like us, are hanging for a fix of Rant n Rave Radio’s “The Agenda”. There is so much to rant about with so many issues coming up. The big one amongst them was the announcement of the election date months and months ahead of time. And of course there’s been the subsequent shenanigans over it since plus there  the nation’s federal Parliament has returned for the year.

And with our schedule freeing up a bit we thought it would be fun to get our fix of Rant n Rave Radio’s “The Agenda” by doing a special broadcast on 11 February.

So tell us – do you want a special broadcast on 11 February?

Well it doesn’t actually matter if you said ‘No’ we’re still going to do a special broadcast.

Rant n Rave Radio at Colour Box Studios

wirelessRant n Rave Radio is live talk back Internet radio station run by Greg Fryer and Alex Schlotzer. Their show, “The Agenda”, provides an alternative perspective on politics, popular culture and all matters worth discussing. It’s live, loud and uncensored and we invite listeners to join in and vent their spleen.

We’re so excited to be working with Colour Box Studio for their Digital Media Month, we’ll be doing a special live broadcast covering the launch of Digital Media Month on Wednesday 16 January from 6pm.

We’ll also be doing a weekly show each Wednesday from 4:30pm from the fantastic space at 236 Nicholson St, Footscray to highlight the great work of local and emerging artists. Of course there will be a digital theme to each show since it’s the Digital Media Month.

Find out more about Colour Box Studio and what’s on for their Digital Media Month.

Next on The Agenda: Australian Politics – the year gone and the year ahead

This week’s episode of The Agenda is going to be absolutely massive and possibly one of the last shows during the festive season. The team will be broadcasting live and loud from 5:30pm AEDT. (We hear they’re planning something big before the new year though so keep an eye out for that.)

But back to this show ahead. They’ve been working on special show.

Now that the Australian federal parliament has risen for the long summer break, it’s time to reflect on the year that was. It’s also a great time to do some navel gazing and consider what the year ahead may look like. There is definitely so much to discuss including the relentless negativity and hyperbole of the Opposition Leader, Tony Abbott and the poor decisions of the Labor Government on policy matters.

We’re not sure what they’re planning to rant and rave about so you better tune in to find out the details and gossip they’ve mustered up for the show.  If you can’t wait for the show to start you catch some past shows on demand at Blog Talk Radio or using the media player in the right hand nav bar.

Make sure you join the team and vent your spleen live from 5:30pm AEDT

Next on The Agenda: Australian mainstream media, LabourStart and more

It seems like it has been ages since our last show and it has been so we’re doing a special catch up show. The team will be broadcasting live from 6:30PM AEDT.

Australian politics is a lot of fun with how tumultuous it’s been; and so it has been for another couple of weeks leading into the end of the parliamentary year.

On our special catch up show Greg and Alex will be ranting about:

  • Australia’s mainstream media failure at providing news;
  • LabourStart’s 3rd Global Solidarity Conference; and
  • Much, much more

Join the team and vent your spleen live from 6:30pm AEDT.
