A small break in the schedule

With other work commitments keeping the team busy for the next fortnight, Rant n Rave Radio’s ‘The Agenda’ is having a small break.

But the team will be back for a huge outdoor broadcast at Colour Box Studio on 13 February at 4:30pm. If you live in Footscray come down and join us in-person for all the fun.

Don’t worry you can still hear our dulcet rants on-demand with our past episodes. Make sure you check out the awesome shows the team did live from Colour Box Studio and Melbourne’s La Mama Theatre.

Next on The Agenda: Fair Work review, Aussie film and more

The team at Rant n Rave Radio have a huge show planned for The Agenda.

With so much going on in the winter recess of Australia’s federal parliament, our next show was always going to be huge. The last week has been particularly interesting for Australian politics with the release of the review into the Fair Work Act.

Needless to say the team is biting at the champ the vent their spleen about it, it’s in the title for the show!

Melbourne International Film Festival launched this week with the Australian premiere of The Sapphires; and Greg and Alex were there. Hear first hand accounts of the glitz, the glam and the bloopers.

And of course there’s more!

This week Greg and Alex will cover:

  • the Fair Work review
  • the Australian premiere of The Sapphires
  • Queensland’s rapid regression
  • and more!

Broadcasting live Sunday from 5.30pm AEST. It’s live talk-back radio so…Join the team and vent your spleen.

Coming up on The Agenda

Sunday is going to be a massive show.

There is so much happening in Australia’s national parliament that it can often distract from what’s happening at the state level. While the majority of political pundits like to bang on about the failings and failures of our current federal government and our national parliament, but the same level of hooting isn’t being directed at the conservative leaders of the state governments.

And while many like to ignore it (or are ignorant of it), the states still wield a large amount of power over many activities within the constitution.

The media is letting us down as they continue to chase the gossip pedlars.

It’ll be a massive show as we go through the litany of state government blunders. No doubt our ranting will sound familiar to you, regardless of where in the world you are.

Join in on Sunday 3 June at 5.30pm (AEST) and vent your spleen with us.

Rant n Rave Radio at the Warehouse Salon

The World Environment Day Spectacular will truly be an epic show. The Rant n Rave Radio team will be doing a very very special broadcast for World Environment Day.

Of course we’ll be analysing and critiquing some of the big issues around World Environment Day. The big issues we’ll be covering include:

  • Climate change
  • Public transport
  • Trampling the environment
  • And more!

Not only will we be discussing Australian politics as we near the implementation of a carbon price; we’ll also be broadcasting live from the Arts House’s Warehouse Salon at the North Melbourne Town Hall. That’s right Rant n Rave Radio has taken a huge leap forward!

It’s going to be an epic show so join us!
